Welcome to Episode 8 of Intuitive Queens & Kings podcast.
My name is Mara, I am The Intuition Queen and I have created this podcast to be inspired and take-action to find and live your purpose.
In this episode, we have the first King of the season.
In my journey I have also met a lot of men that have had the courage to listen to their intuition, their call and took steps to live their purpose and I want to honour them too having them as guest every few episodes.
Today I am interviewing the first King of the season, Jose Luis Ucar who is a public speaking and communication coach.
Jose starts telling us his story talking about his divorce and how such a low point is his life, became the catalyst to his personal change and development.
That is when he started asking himself questions and brought him to discover NLP.
Listening to the responses coming from within and applying NLP principles, brought Jose to change his life for the better and attract one opportunity after the other.
From a client request to train in his company, Jose realised that there was a possibility for him to use his skills and do what he likes most: communication and public speaking, to make it become a full-time job.
That’s when from an unexpected invitation Jose realised that with NLP techniques that he was learning, his skills and passion for communication and public speaking, there was space for a full-time career.
He decided to use his painful experience with his divorce and all his knowledge to make it happen.
Jose talks a lot about the power of connections.
This is because with his job they are crucial but also because, connections are the ones that can help you in your personal and professional life.
Disconnecting from himself was what lead Jose to get divorced and he has realised even more how powerful connections can be.
Mainly, how hugely important is being connected to yourself first and consequently connecting to the right people.
Jose centres his work on personal knowledge. He wants his clients to learn about themselves first, what kind of communication they use, what triggers them etc so that they can improve their skills and their communication with others.
As Jose says: It’s about creating that experience, in which we all learn from each other.
He also highlights how it’s important not to have expectations and be curious about every experience and every person that you meet, because there is something to learn in every situation.
Jose also talks about how when you take a decision and you focus on reaching a goal, things start to happen and that is especially the case of his imminent TEDx talk in a month.
Jose’s approach is focused and making you become more aware of yourself and use your best skills to communicate effectively when speaking in public.
