Welcome to Episode 53 of Intuitive Queens podcast from your Intuition Queen.
My name is Mara and I have created this podcast to inspire you with the stories of my guests and how they overcame fears, limiting beliefs, tragedies and obstacles and managed to find their purpose following their intuition.
My hope is that you will resonate with one or all of them and their story will get you to take-action to change your life, and finally go after your dreams.
In today’s episode I am Diane Foy, a Publicist, Podcaster and Coach for musicians and artists.
Diane always knew she wanted to work with musicians and artists and that’s how she got into photography.
Taking pictures of musicians was her way t be close to the kind of people she wanted to work with but realised that was not making here enough money so she moved to another city and found a job at Mac Cosmetics.
For a while she was happy as she was able to express her creative side anyway and she loved the environment but when things started to change she found herself craving that need to work with musicians and artists again and despite the fear of leaving her secure job, she decided to go back to school.
At the end of her course she became a publicist but being a freelance was a rollercoaster because you went through period of a lot of work and then nothing for a while.
The doubt and fear of security often crippled in and Diane found herself wondering if maybe a full-time job would have been better.
Even with the struggle, she knew deep inside that working for someone else was not the solution, and even when she tried she couldn’t find anything because, as she says, deep within she really didn’t want to.
She then attends a course about coaching and she finally realised that was the kind of job she had always been looking for because it would have given her the possibility to work closely with musician and really make a difference in their lives.
Diane story is the proof that, when you know what you want to do, you will eventually get to that once you release the fears that stop you from living your purpose and you do a bit of work on yourself.
